The sensors developed and produced by Senstech use thin-film strain gauges (DS-DMS) as the measuring element. This measuring principle enables robust and long-term stable sensors. Without individual corrections, these sensors are very temperature-stable and can be evaluated with simple electronics. The substrate bodies are made of high quality spring alloys. The thin-film technology is also excellently suited for the production of miniature sensors.

Force Sensors

Force Sensors are mostly implemented with bending beams. This design can be well protected against overload. The force is usually introduced at a point, for example via a round head rivet.

Pressure Sensors

Membrane bodies are mostly used to measure pressures. These can be adapted to the required measuring range, the installation situation and the ambient conditions.

Torque Sensors

With strain gauges, one can also monitor shear stresses and realize simple Torque Sensors . Very compact dimensions can be achieved by a crossed arrangement of two measuring elements.

Surface Strain Sensors

With Surface Strain Sensors, large forces can be measured indirectly on loaded parts of the system. Such sensors are well suited for surveillance applications.
