Torque Sensors

The torque measuring principles shear force, cage and measuring flange can be realized with thin film strain gauges. Depending on the application, measuring elements from our standard range can be used or customer-specific elements can be developed. These elements are joined together with laser welding to create a torque sensor.

Torque Sensors

These sensors are in the qualification phase. Possible installation situations are shown in the data sheets. Certain properties such as the mechanical interface (diameter of the round plates, hole positions etc.) can be adapted to customer requirements with little effort.

This measuring beam has two bending zones with independent Wheatstone bridges. The data sheet shows a possible arrangement as a torque sensor. Senstech can supply the sensor in this form and adapt the dimensions to customer specifications, if necessary.

Sensor element for shear stress measurements with thin film strain gauges. A compact torque sensor can be created by mounting two elements in a cross. Various other arrangements are possible.

This sensor is made up of 2 PR-011-1000 elements and has a diameter of 15 mm. Depending on the thickness of the elements, the measuring range is approx. 0.2 to 0.8 Nm.
